摘要:The present disclosure provides a process for the selective synthesis of dimethyl carbonate 0 (DMC). More particularly, the present disclosure provides a process for inhibiting catalyst deactivation in a process for selective DMC synthesis. The process is particularly characterized by conducting the process in the presence of a small quantity of air. Further provided herein is a system for facilitating the said process. The process and the system (Figure 1) of the present disclosure prolong the life of the catalyst by virtue of introduction of air into the reactor.

摘要:A method for the synthesis of mixed metal oxide crystalline powders comprises the steps of preparing a raw material mixture containing at least two different metal cations; adding a template material to the mixture and blending it therewith; initiating formation of a mixed metal oxide by calcination of the mixture and the template material, whereby particles of the mixed metal oxides are formed; and thereafter recovering the mixed metal oxide particles. Mixed metal oxide crystalline powders comprise a template material; and metal oxides which form pigment classes of material containing the template material, the pigment classes being selected from the group consisting of borate, garnet, olivine, phenacite, phosphate, priderite, pyrochlore, sphene, spinel and zircon, as well as perovskite crystal classes of material containing the template, all of which have a uniform particle morphology and particle size ranging between about 0.2 to 100 mu with minimal comminution.

摘要:The present disclosure provides a process for the continuous and selective synthesis of Dimethyl carbonate (DMC) addressing issues such as choking, reagent consumption and other downstream issues. The process of the present disclosure is characterized by integration of 2 reactions, one for the conversation of alcohol and carbon dioxide to DMC in the presence of a nitrile based dehydrating agent and the second for the re-generation of the nitrile based dehydrating agent in the presence of a suitable solvent. Further provided herein is a system (Figure 1) for facilitating the said process. The process is characterized by prolonged catalyst activity, efficient regeneration of reactants, low energy requirements and simple regeneration procedures.

摘要:The present invention provides a rare earth oxide-supported noble metal catalyst which has a high catalytic activity, is greatly improved in the ammonia production activity per weight of the catalyst and per amount of the supported metal, and enables the synthesis of ammonia under mild conditions. The catalyst according to the present invention is characterized in that ruthenium is supported in a layered form on a praseodymium oxide carrier. The catalyst according to the present invention can be produced by burning a praseodymium oxide precursor at a lower temperature, then at a medium temperature and then at a higher temperature to produce praseodymium oxide, then agitating the resultant praseodymium oxide together with a ruthenium supply source in a solvent, then removing the solvent from the mixture, and then burning the resultant product.
