摘要:Abstractthe Effect Of Experimental Parameters Such As Time Of Irradiation,Analyte Concentration,Primary Beam Density,Matrix Selection And Matrix Additives On The Beam‐induced Dehalogenation Of Chlorpromazine In Liquid Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (Lsims) Was Investigated. It Was Found That Dehalogenation Of Chlorpromazine In Glycerol Increased With Increasing Time Of Irradiation,Analyte Concentration And Primary Beam Density. These Results Were Compared With Those Obtained Using 4‐chlorophenylalanine Ethyl Ester And The Differences Observed Were Rationalized In Terms Of Compound Surface Activity. Evidence Is Given That Matrix Selection Is The Key Experimental Parameter Affecting The Extent Of Beam‐induced Dehalogenation Of Chlorpromazine In Lsims. Of The Eleven Matrices Used,The Greatest Extent Of Dehalogenation Was Observed In Glycerol. Sulfur‐containing Matrices Consistently Exhibited A Lower Extent Of Dehalogenation Than Oxygen‐containing Aliphatic Matrices,Implying That Sulfur Is Implicated In Mitigating The Reduction Process. Dehalogenation Was Totally Inhibited In 2‐hydroxyethyl Disulfide,4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonic Acid And 3‐nitrobenzyl Alcohol. Similarly,The Use Of Matrix Additives Such As 3‐nitrobenzyl Alcohol And Trifluoroacetic Acid Was Found To Be Useful In Inhibiting The Extent Of Dehalogenation occurring In Glycerol.

摘要:Methods for the preparation of a free-flowing, storage-stable fatty acid metal salt product by forming a reactive admixture of (a) an unsaturated fatty acid glyceride feedstock; and (b) from about 1 mol to about 3 mol of at least one monovalent metal hydroxide or at least one divalent metal hydroxide; and heating the admixture to a temperature at which said fatty acid glycerides saponify to form fatty acid metals salts; wherein said monovalent metal is potassium; and wherein said divalent metal is selected from the group consisting of calcium, copper, magnesium and zinc. The fatty acid glycerides are saponified in an atmosphere in which the partial pressure of oxygen has been reduced by an amount effective to provide an improvement in storage stability until a free-flowing, storage-stage product is obtained. Storage stable metal salts of unsaturated fatty acids prepared by the inventive methods are also disclosed.

摘要:A method for producing a polysaccharide ester microsphere may include forming a polysaccharide ester product from a polysaccharide synthesis, wherein the polysaccharide ester product comprises a polysaccharide ester and a solvent; diluting the polysaccharide ester product, thereby yielding a polysaccharide ester dope; and forming a plurality of polysaccharide ester microspheres from the polysaccharide ester dope. Suitable polysaccharides may include, but are not limited to, starch, cellulose, hemicellulose, algenates, chitosan, and any combination thereof. Esters thereof may be organic esters (e.g., acetate and the like), inorganic esters (e.g., sulfonates and the like), or combinations thereof. Further, the solids conent of the polysaccharide ester dope, in some instances, may be greater than about 16 wt %.
