摘要:The present disclosure relates to methods and products for preventing and/or treating a stress- induced cardiomyopathy. Certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of preventing and/or treating a stress-induced cardiomyopathy in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of one or more of the following agents: a peroxynitrite inhibitor; an inhibitor of peroxynitrite synthesis; an inhibitor of peroxynitrite associated signalling; an inhibitor of peroxynitrite-induced DNA damage; a Tx NIP inhibitor; a beta 2 adrenoceptor antagonist; and a beta 3 adrenoceptor antagonist; thereby preventing and/or treating the stress-induced cardiomyopathy in the subject.
