摘要:Disclosed in the present invention are a method for synthesizing cholesterol and derivatives thereof using a chassis plant, and a composition. A method for synthesizing cholesterol using a chassis plant is provided, comprising: co-expressing a first group of enzymes in a chassis plant to produce cholesterol, wherein the first group of enzymes comprise PpHMGR, PpOSC1, PpSSR1-3, PpSMO1-3, PpSMO2-2, PpCPI-5, PpCYP51G, PpC14-R-2, Pp8,7SI-4, and PpC5-SD1. A method for synthesizing diosgenin using a chassis plant is provided, comprising: co-expressing the first group of enzymes and a second group of enzymes in a chassis plant to produce diosgenin, wherein the second group of enzymes comprise PpCPR, PpCYP90B27, PpCYP90G4, and PpCYP94D108 or PpCYP94D109. A method for synthesizing polyphyllin V using a chassis plant is also provided, comprising: co-expressing the first group of enzymes, the second group of enzymes, and a third group of enzymes in a chassis plant to produce polyphyllin V, wherein the third group of enzymes comprise PpUGT73CR1 and PpUGT73CE1. According to the present invention, a system for synthesizing cholesterol and derivatives thereof using a plant is established, and a foundation is laid for analysis of synthesis pathways of steroid compounds and production of steroid compounds.
