摘要:The invention concerns a process for preparing crystalline alkali metal disilicates, characterized in that an alkali metal silicate solution having a modulus (= molar ratio of SiO2 : M2O, M = alkali metal) ranging from 1.8 to 2.5 and solids contents ranging from 20 to 65 wt.% is introduced into a gas flow heated to between 580 and 800 °C, and the product is left to dwell therein for a period of between 10 and 30 minutes. Further substances having the function of a builder or explosive can also be present so that compounds of these substances with crystalline disilicates are produced.

摘要:Methods disclosed herein provide for an environmentally-friendly approach that employ citric extracts from fruits as unique reducing and stabilizing agents for making a tellurium nanomaterial. A particular method of making a tellurium nanomaterial includes combining citrus fruit extract with a tellurium salt to form a mixture of citrus fruit extract and dissolved tellurium salt; and heating the mixture of citrus fruit extract and dissolved tellurium salt, thereby making the tellurium nanomaterial. The resulting nanoparticles exhibit enhanced and desirable biomedical properties toward treatment of both infectious diseases and cancer.
