摘要:The present invention relates to a process for the production of benzimidazole derivatives comprising providing an amino acetamido benzene derivative; and condensing and cyclising the aminoacetamido benzene derivative in the presence of a base and in the presence of a cyclising agent under conditions effective to form the benzimidazole derivative. The acetamido benzene derivative has the formula (I) wherein R is OMe or OCHF2. The resulting substituted benzimidazoles are key intermediates in the synthesis of H<+>/K<+>-ATPase irreversible inhibitors, most particularly Omeprazole.

摘要:New beta -chloroethylsuflonylmethyl-benzoic acid halides which can serve as fibre-reactive anchors for thesynthesis of novel organic, water-soluble compounds, preferably dyestuffs, having fibre-reactive and fibre-finishing properties, such as preferably dyestuff properties, and containing, as a fibre-reactive group, one or two beta -chloroethylsufonylmethylbenzoic acid amide groups. For the synthesis of these novel fibre-finishing compounds, said new beta -chloroethylsulfonylmethyl-benzoic acid halide compounds are reacted with an organic, water-soluble compound having fibre-finishing properties and continuing one or two amino groups. Also precursors of the fibre-finishing, fibre-reactive compounds, containing said beta -chloroethylsulfonylmethyl-benzxoic acid amid grouping, can be employed for their synthesis. The novel fibre-finishing compounds can be applied onto suitable fibre materials, such as especially cellulose fibre material and natural or synthetic polyamide fibre materials, and fixed on these fibre materials in a manner similar to application and fixation methods usual in the technique for fibre-reactive compounds. The fibre-finished material, such as dyed material, shows very good wet fastnesses.

摘要:Dyestuff dispersions and dyestuff solutions free from salt or at least having a low salt content are obtained in that the diazotization is carried out with addition of free dispersing agent acid to which, after the synthesis, either no basic agents are added or basic agents are added only up to a pH value of 3. The disclosed process gives dyestuff compositions of low salt content and results in readily dispersible dyestuffs when water insoluble dyestuffs are prepared and stable solutions when water soluble dyestuffs are prepared. The process is widely applicable and chemical constitution of the dyestuffs is conventional.

摘要:A new and very advantageous Process had been found for the preparation of azo dyestuffs by diazotation and coupling in which the synthesis is carried out without the hitherto usual addition of an acid, with the proviso that at least one of the diazo and coupling components contains at least one acid group. Besides the saving of reaction material and subsequently of alkali for neutralization of the reaction medium and isolation of the dyestuff, highly concentrated solutions of the dyestuff and salt-free or practically salt-free dyestuffs can be obtained, and waste-water is no longer charged with big amounts of salts.
