摘要:The present invention relates to a new process for the synthesis of high purity 3,5-diamino-6-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazine of formula (I) using 2,3-dichlorobenzoyl cyanide and an aminoguanidine salt as starting materials. 2,3-dichlorobenzoyl cyanide is reacted with 1-2 mol equivalent of aminoguanidine salt in 3-6 mol equivalent of methanesulfonic acid, then the obtained adduct of formula (IV) is transformed without isolation into the product with magnesium oxide. In given case the obtained crude product can be recrystallized from a proper organic solvent

摘要:Embodiments of this disclosure describe a novel method for synthesizing a tetrazole derivative. The distinguishing feature lies in using aminoguanidine nitrate or aminoguanidine bicarbonate as the starting material, replacing the highly sensitive tetrazine. In a single operational step, the aqueous solution of the starting material is treated with sodium nitrite. The treatment resulted in the precipitation a solid product. Without isolating the intermediate, the solid is subjected undergoes Sandmeyer reaction conditions in-situ, involving nitric acid and sodium nitrite. The resulting solid is filtered, washed with cold water and isopropyl alcohol, and dried to obtain the tetrazole derivative. By eliminating the safety risks associated with the Hamiltonian precursor and streamlining the process, the invention offers a safer, more efficient, and commercially viable method for synthesizing the tetrazole derivative.

摘要:High nitrogen gas generant compositions, useful for inflating passenger restraint gas inflator bags, comprise a nitrogen rich coordination compound selected from coordination complexes comprised of anionic nitro and nitrito ligands coordinated with a transitional metal template, and nonmetallic or nonmetallic/metallic cations. The gas generant compositions generate relatively more gas and less solids, and are safer than known gas generant compositions. Certain gas generant compositions ignite at lower autoignition temperatures thereby facilitating the use of an aluminum or light weight metal pressure vessel. Other gas generants self-deflagrate eliminating the need for other constituents in the composition. Novel methods for the synthesis of nonmetal derivative coordination complexes, guanidine and hydrazine for example, are also presented.
