摘要:There are produced crystalline zeolite powders of Type A with the composition 1.0+/-0.2 M2/nO:Al2O3:1.85+/-0.5 SiO2xy H2O where M is a metal cation, n is its valence and y has a value up to 6 with 50 weight % of the particles not over 5.9 mu and with a particle spectrum -Fraction ( mu ) Portion (weight %) -<3 15 to 25 -<5 35 to 55 -<10 80 to 94 -<15 96 to 100 - by hydrothermally crystallizing a SiO2, Al2O3, Na2O and water containing alkali aluminate, water, silicate synthesis mixture with an optional tempering step wherein in a given case during the crystallization or tempering step instead of stirring shearing forces are employed. The process comprises providing water in a container, simultaneously feeding into the water at a temperature of 30 DEG to 100 DEG C. an aqueous sodium aluminate liquor containing 100 to 200 grams/l of Na2O and 50 to 150 grams/l of Al2O3 and alkali silicate solution, diluting with water to obtain a gel containing synthesis premixture having the composition SiO2/Al2O3=2 to 50:1, Na2O/SiO2=0.2 to 20:1 and H2O/Na2O=4 to 300:1 adding further sodium aluminate liquor of the same composition and water having a temperature of 10 DEG to 100 DEG C. with stirring and allowing the thus obtained synthesis mixture to crystallize at a temperature within between 20 DEG and 175 DEG C. in at least 15 minutes.

The process comprises providing an aqueous alkali aluminate liquor having a temperature of 30 DEG to 100 DEG C. and containing 0.1 to 100 grams of Al2O3/l and 1 to 200 grams of Na2O/l, feeding in an alkali silicate solution within 10 to 200 minutes to obtain a clear reaction solution having the composition SiO2/Al2O3=50 to 1000:1, Na2O/SiO2=0.2 to 20:1 and H2O/Na2O=4 to 300:1, adding with stirring to the synthesis mixture an aqueous sodium aluminate which contains 10 to 200 grams/l of Al2O3 and 10 to 250 grams/l of Na2O having a temperature of 30 DEG to 100 DEG C. and allowing the thus obtained synthesis mixture to crystallize at a temperature within between 20 DEG and 175 DEG C. in at least 15 minutes.

The process comprises providing an aqueous alkali aluminate liquor having a temperature of 50 DEG to 90 DEG C. and containing 0.1 to 100 grams of Al2O3/l and 1 to 200 grams of Na2O/l, feeding in with stirring an alkali silicate solution, to the turbid reaction mixture having the composition SiO2/Al2O3=2 to 50:1, Na2O/SiO2=0.2 to 20:1 and H2O/NaO=4 to 300:1, adding with stirring in two steps an aqueous sodium aluminate which contains 10 to 200 grams/l ot Al2O3 and 10 to 250 grams/l of Na2O and having a temperature of 10 DEG to 100 DEG C. and allowing the thus obtained synthesis mixture to crystallize at a temperature within between 20 DEG and 175 DEG inside at least 15 minutes.

摘要:A crystalline zeolitic molecular sieve of Type A with the composition 1.0 +/- 0.2 M2/nO : Al2O3 : 1.85 +/- 0.5 SiO2 . y H2O where M is a metal cation, n its valence and y has a value up to 6 is prepared having particles with at least 99.5 weight % below 30 mu diameter, as well as at least 90 weight % under 10 mu and with 50 weight % below 6.5 mu by hydrothermal crystallization of an alkali-aluminate silicate by pouring together an aqueous alkali silicate solution and a slightly concentrated aqueous alkali aluminate liquor, in a given case with simultaneous stirring in a receiver, allowing the synthesis premixture to solidify to a gel, adding to this gel a more highly concentrated aqueous alkali aluminate liquor at a temperature between 10 DEG and 100 DEG C. while stirring, allowing the thus obtained synthesis mixture to crystallize at a temperature between 20 DEG and 175 DEG C., preferably 100 DEG C., within 15 minutes and in a given case including a tempering step.

The process comprises mixing with stirring (1) an aqueous alkali silicate solution and (2) an aqueous sodium hydroxide with a NaOH content of 0.1 to 500 grams/l and/or (3) aqueous sodium aluminate liquor which contains 0.1 to 100 grams/l of Al2O3 and 1 to 200 grams/l of Na2O, one of components (1) and (2) or (3) being present in a container and the other being added thereto while preventing for a time of 10 to 30 minutes the formation of an insoluble gel having an SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of from 2 to 50:1, adding with stirring an aqueous sodium aluminate which contains 10 to 200 grams/l of Al2O3 and 10 to 250 grams/l of Na2O and having a temperature of 10 DEG to 100 DEG C. and allowing the thus obtained synthesis mixture to crystallize at a temperature within between 20 DEG and 175 DEG C. inside at least 15 minutes.
