摘要:The invention relates to the field of casting technologies, and more particularly to centrifugal apparatus for producing cast materials synthesized during the combustion of highly exothermic powder compositions using self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) methods. The present centrifugal apparatus comprises a rotatable arm of a rotary centrifuge, said rotatable arm being mounted on a supporting base and having two pivotable baskets arranged symmetrically on the beam thereof, the baskets having reaction units for receiving a refractory mould containing an exothermic SHS composition. The apparatus is provided with a remotely disposed computer console for controlling each of the following: a system for actuating an electric motor of the rotor, a system for cooling a water-cooled segmented shell, a system for the laser ignition of SHS compositions, and a backup system for igniting compositions by means of an electrical tungsten coil. In the laser ignition system, an optical device is used to deliver laser radiation, said device being mounted proximate the axis of rotation, wherein a beam is refracted by a prismatic mirror onto the surface of an exothermic SHS composition. In the cooling system, pipes for the supply and removal of water via shutoff valves, a heat exchanger and centrifugal circulating pumps are connected to a tank of the cooling system. The technical result is an increase in the efficiency of the process of producing cast materials and an increase in the quality of the materials produced.
