摘要:Random or block co- or terpolymers produced by using metal complex catalysts in a reaction of one conjugated diene monomer with one aromatic Random or block co- or terpolymers produced by using metomers with one aromatic α-olefin or terpolymers of one conjugated diene monomer with one aromatic α-olefin and one aliphatic α-olefin by using metal complexes comprising metals of group 3 to 10 of the Periodic System of the Elements in combination with activators and optionally a support material. More particularly the metal complexes used for the synthesis of co- or terpolymer are lanthanide metals. Even more particularly diene monomer(s) and aromatic α-olefin monomer(s) such as, but not limited to, butadiene and styrene or isoprene and styrene are copolymerized giving random or block copolymers or butadiene, styrene and isoprene are terpolymerized giving random or block terpolymers using metal complexes comprising lanthanide metals in combination with activators and optionally a support material. Preferably random co- or terpolymers are formed.

摘要:The present invention relates to methods for inhibiting sebaceous gland activity in mammalian skin comprising administration of a topical composition comprising dehydroacetic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and a dermatologically-acceptable carrier. The present invention also relates to methods and topical compositions further comprising agents which regulate the oily and/or shiny appearance of skin, and agents which treat acne and related skin disorders in mammalian skin and scalp. Methods of reducing sebum synthesis with the use of dehydroacetic acid, methods of regulating the oily and/or shiny appearance of skin, and methods of treating acne and other skin disorders are also encompassed by the present invention.

摘要:This invention relates to metal complex compositions, their preparation and their use as catalysts to produce polymers of conjugated dienes through polymerization of conjugated diene monomers and copolymers of conjugated dienes with aromatic or nonaromatic alpha olefins or with nonconjugated dienes. The used metal complex compositions comprise cobalt complex compositions in combination with activator compounds type 1 and activator compounds type 2 and a catalyst modifier. Particularly the invention relates to cobalt complexes containing at least one cobalt - oxygen bond and to the preparation of the catalyst and the use of the prepared catalyst to produce homopolymers of conjugated dienes or copolymers of conjugated dienes with aromatic or nonaromatic alpha-olefins or with nonconjugated dienes, preferably polymerization of 1,3-butadiene or isoprene or copolymerization of 1,3-butadiene or isoprene with styrene or divinyl benzene. The activator compounds can be one alumoxane type activator or a noncoordinating anion-forming reagent such as, but not limited to, organoborates or organoborone compounds and one alkylaluminum halide type activator are used in combination with the cobalt complexes and with one or more aromatic compounds for the synthesis of homopolymers or copolymers. The aromatic modifier is applied in amounts similar or smaller than the amounts of the used activators.
