Can be sublimed at 0.3 mm and 110° without decompn. bp760 284° (dec); bp8.0 167°; bp3.0 150°; bp0.3 130.2°. Kb at 15° = 6.6 ´ 10-9. Forms salts with acids and bases. Soly in water: 0.39% at 13°; 0.65% at 24°; 0.80% at 30°; 1.5% at 50°; 4.7% at 80°; 8.5% at 96°. Soly in ethyl methyl ketone: 9.3% at 58.5°; in abs ethanol: 4.5% at 0°. Practically insol in benzene, chloroform.
