Properties: Crystals from petr ether, mp 60-60.5°. Relatively stable in aq dispersions at pH 7 or below. Commercial product is a yellow oil, bp0.01 117-118°. nD20 1.5142. Sol in acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride. Practically insol in water, light petroleum. LD50 in male, female rats (mg/kg): 635, 460 orally (Gaines).
