Solubility in water about 50 mg/ml. pH of satd aq soln 3.5 to 5.0. Sol in pyridine, ethanol, less sol to insol in acetone, ether, chloroform, pentane, benzene. Sol in dil aq alkali at pH 6 and higher, increasingly insol at pH 6 to 3.
