Properties: Fine needles from toluene, mp 175°. Sol in aq solns of NaOH, in alcohol, in hot benzene.
Melting point: mp 175°
NOTE: Novex is also a trade name for a thermoplastic resin.
Use: Fungicide; esp used against Monosporium apiospermum: Reifferscheid, Seeliger, Dtsch. Med. Wochenschr.
