Properties: White, odorless, granular powder. Loses its water of crystn at 120°. Sol in 3 parts water, 0.5 part boiling water; slightly sol in alcohol. The aq soln is practically neutral. LD50 i.p. in rats: 900 mg/kg (Cochran).
