合成路线:The diazotation of methyl-5-amino-2-hydroxybenzoate (I) with NaNO2 and HCl gives the cor responding diazonium salt (II),which is coupled with methyl 2-hydroxybenzoate (III) to afford the corresponding azobenzene (IV).Finally,this compound is hydrolyzed with boiling 1N NaOH.
