Properties: White hygroscopic powder. mp 200°. Readily sol in water yielding a soln of oxophenarsine. Usually marketed mixed with 3.33 times its weight of sodium citrate-carbonate as buffer to make a soln of pH 6.2 isotonic with human blood. LD50 i.p. in mice: 41 mg/kg (Beck).
